As a physiotherapist who's been at fitness & sports injuries for (alas) a long while, I've been
thoroughly impressed with Kathy Leake, both professionally & personally.
There's absolutely no doubt that she puts every ounce of focus into those she trains. Her
spotting of postures and cuing to correct the bio mechanics of whom she's training, are bang-on.She's so focused on her clients, I often couldn't even catch her eye when at the Gym doing my own workout.
The clientele that Kathy has sent me to treat really demonstrates her keen awareness for when, for example, a 'Boot camp' gal needs to be properly assessed to ensure appropriateness for their participation. Her knowledge of anatomy & physiology plus that of experience demonstrates she really knows when to tap into the rehab side of things - completely protecting her clients.
She gets two (2) thumbs up from me. And, in summary, I would be very comfortable sending
any of my discharged for independent athletes to be under her supervision whilst 'getting back
on track'.

She is a mean evil (bi%%#) who put me into the best shape I had been in years
with more energy than I had ever had. She has specific exercises that she uses, such as head bangers and 21's. OH trust me, they work amazingly well.

I've had a weight problem my whole life. Kathy made me understand the quality, quantity and what each food group does and does not do for you. And WOW boy did I lose weight and I am never hungry.

I am in Ontario, and since Kathy moved back to BC, I have had a terrible accident and I have been on the phone often with Kathy. She has helped me through 2 years of hell.
I am just starting to lose the weight again that I put on laying in a bed for 19mths and now with her help can go up and down steps again.

I am one of those people who have really good intentions when it comes to working out. I usually have great plans as to my next exercise regimen and if I actually implement my plan, it usually fizzles in a couple of weeks. Kathy has been my personal trainer now for about 6 months and I am still going!! That fact alone says it all. She really knows her stuff. It is always changing and challenging - we laugh - I cry, but most importantly I have seen results. It would take a lot for me to miss my workout. Thanks Kathy.
